About us

We love dogs - and dogs love us!

All of the dogs that stay with us for daycare or holiday care are part of our family. Every day we’re excited to provide the perfect day for your dog.

That’s why we’ve created an indoor and outdoor space where your dog can be dog. All the dogs can spend their day the way they want. Some dogs play and run, others find a spot in the sun and watch the fun. And everyone who wants comes to the humans for cuddles.

You can be sure that your dog has a great day and is in safe hands with us.

Nadja

I always wanted all sorts of pets, but as a child I was “only” allowed to have gerbils - as an adult I overcompensated a bit and now have two former street dogs myself and a lot of daycare and holiday dogs!

I originally trained as an optician and had wanted to work with dogs for a long time, but I didn't know exactly in which area. Having my first dog, Bean, made me love doggy daycare. When we lived in Zurich, Bean was with our friends at Hunde Abenteuer Land, and when we moved to Schaffhausen, I missed a homey dog daycare with a local meeting point. That's how I came up with the idea of continuing my education and opening my own dog daycare. For me it is important that the dogs have fun with us, are safe and can simply be dogs - just as I know it from my internship at Hunde Abenteuer Land.

Pascal

Pascal is our weekend support, our accounting pro and last but not least responsible for this website - he works in IT full-time. After a day's work, he meets our own dogs and holiday dogs at home. On the weekend he can be found with Nadja and the holiday dogs in the woods and fields.

Bean is our first dog together, adopted in 2018 from Tierheim Surber in Zurich. He was originally found in a field in Calabria when he was about a year old. He is super friendly and especially loves to play with puppies and big dogs.

Lexy

Lexy has been part of the family since 2021 and is an older lady. Abandoned and found in Calabria, she came to us via Associazione Salvami when she was about 7 years old. Lexy likes it a bit more quiet and likes to determine what's going on from her deck chair.

  • Elvis

As an elderly gentleman, Elvis enjoys some peace and quiet. After the holidays with you he was relaxed and not stressed. The daily photos of chilling and walking helped us to enjoy our vacation.

  • Uma

Uma stayed with Nadja and Pascal when I had to go to the hospital for an extended stay. As she is a very anxious dog I was glad to see how relaxed she looked in the daily pictures.
